Back to School.....A Bad Idea?
The weekly seminars I have to attend for school start back today. Another new semester. Education's a good thing, right? This article has me feeling less than excited about it all. Good thing I love what I am studying.

I feel that education for the sake of personal development and experience is always a good thing. If it is intended to be an investment in one's financial future, however, the outlook is a bit less clear as you correctly note.
My environmental econ professor would have referred to higher education as an "intellective utility" for which a dollar-for-dollar return should not be expected. :-)
